bio: jeff nall

Jeff Nall is a writer, speaker and activist. He has Master of Liberal Studies degree from Rollins College, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Comparative Studies: Public Intellectuals at Florida Atlantic University. Two of Jeff’s essays on activism appear in Howling Dog Press’s new activist anthology, Cost of Freedom. He currently resides in South Florida.

Assisted Brevard ACLU in reforming both the Melbourne Police Department and the Brevard County Sheriff Office’s surveillance policy, after organizing a counter-inauguration demonstration, which resulted in Nall’s being labeled a suspect.

Co-chair of Socials committee for Space Coast Progressive Alliance (2004-2005)

Assisted Americans United for the Separation of Church and State lawsuit against the Brevard County School Board over its refusal to stop 4 schools from unnecessarily holding high school graduation at an area church. The lawsuit resulted in a judge’s rebuke of the school board, making clear that the separation of church and state must be respected.
